Copeland Sighthounds
The goals for Copeland Sighthounds are to have Greyhounds and Whippets that are a pleasure to live with, beautiful to look at, as correct to the standard as possible, and who can run competitively with the best. Our hounds are pets. They play in the back yard, eat in the kitchen, sleep in our house, and watch TV in the family room.
On weekends, they do what they were bred to do by competing for lure coursing and confirmation titles.

She was Nationally Ranked # 12 in Confirmation Best of Breed point for 2008. She hold five Best in Field Lure Coursing wins in American Kennel Club and the American Sighthound Field Association competition.
Carolyn and I are very fortunate to have Zola. She was one of 11 puppies. All are wonderful greyhounds and six have outstanding accomplishments in the show ring and on the coursing fields:

Peerless reunited with his litter sister
Lochrima, after their racing career ended and showing off his Jr. Courser Ribbons.
"Peerless" ran 18 races at Seabrook Greyhound Park in NH, with a 1st finish on January 24, 2004, during one of his maiden races. He is an AKC Junior Courser. While his litter mates ran A and B class at the track, his weak heat prevented him from competing on the track or the lure coursing field. Today, his runs in our back yard are truly missed!

Pa's Peppermint is a Dutch Bahama Grandson. He was 10 years old on July 1, 2009. "Peppa" earned 46 top finishes at the Raynham Park Track in MA. He is an AKC Senior Courser and an American Sighthound Field Association Field Champion.
He is most revered by his family as a damn good dog!
