Copeland Sighthounds

The goals for Copeland Sighthounds are to have Greyhounds and Whippets that are a pleasure to live with, beautiful to look at, as correct to the standard as possible, and who can run competitively with the best. Our hounds are pets. They play in the back yard, eat in the kitchen, sleep in our house, and watch TV in the family room. On weekends, they do what they were bred to do by competing for lure coursing and confirmation titles.

Walecka JC -"Peerless" 2002 - 2009

Peerless reunited with his litter sister Lochrima, after their racing career ended and showing off his Jr. Courser Ribbons.

Pedigree Walecka

"Peerless" ran 18 races at Seabrook Greyhound Park in NH, with a 1st finish on January 24, 2004, during one of his maiden races. He is an AKC Junior Courser. While his litter mates ran A and B class at the track, his weak heat prevented him from competing on the track or the lure coursing field. Today, his runs in our back yard are truly missed!
